My Story

I had been married almost 15 years. 9 years ago in April I came home to find a note from my husband saying he was “separating from me” and he didn’t love me anymore. My son who was 8 at that time and my daughter at the age of 3 were always beside me whenever I needed  someone to keep my mind away from my stressful life – it was so hard to be a single mom. It took me 3 years before my friends convinced me to go out with them and have some fun. But to be honest all the guys at bars and restaurants were after just one thing, a one night stand. It wasn’t anything I, a mature single woman, was looking for.

Online Dating – Taunting at first

First steps of “recovery” done I started to look online. I had heard from a colleague at work that she had found a really nice guy online. To be fair she was only 25 and I couldn’t undertand why she just didn’t go out to find someone, instead she preferred to do online dating…
